Affordable Lenses Properly Fitted For Anyone
At Total Vision, glasses and lenses are affordable and comfortable. With a licensed optician in each office, you always receive properly measured and fitted glasses. If you are hard to fit for contact lenses, you’ll benefit from Dr. Mitchel Strand’s expertise in that area.
Extensive Eye Exams
A routine eye exam at Total Vision is never routine. Our technicians perform extra tests that check blood pressure, peripheral vision, and other indicators of both eye health and general health. The thoroughness of the exam identifies many medical conditions and sets the stage for treatment. Among the conditions Total Vision can identify are atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries), diabetes, high blood pressure, and many others.
The Total Vision Eye Examination
Dr. Strand and our professionally trained staff will perform an eye health and vision analysis which includes:
Complete Health and Ocular History
Internal and External Eye Health Analysis (cataract and ocular disease detection)
Eye Muscle Coordination Skills
Depth Perception and Color Vision Testing
Neurological Pupil Evaluation
Glaucoma Testing and Blood Pressure
Refraction to Determine Present Eyeglass Prescription
At the end of the examination, Dr. Strand will discuss all the findings with you and will give you a complete report of the examination results, along with any recommendations for further testing or treatment. We are confident that you will find your examination to be a most thorough health and vision analysis.
Contact Lens Services
Our contact lens services feature the latest advances in contact lens technology and we maintain an extensive contact lens inventory. This enables most of our patients to receive their lenses on the same day as their initial evaluation visit.
Dr. Strand has had extensive experience in the contact lens field and brings this knowledge to you, our patients, so that your introduction to contact lenses will be positive, successful, and economical as well. You will find that our examination and fitting methods are thorough. We spend a great deal of time and effort in education our contact lens patients so that they know the capabilities an limitations of their contact lenses, as well as how to use, care for, and maintain them.
We offer a wide variety of contact lenses to correct each specific refractive condition, including:
Daily and Extended wear soft contact lenses for the
correction of nearsightedness and farsightedness.
Contact lenses for the correction of astigmatism

The success or failure of a contact lens patient depends on the care received after the lenses are dispensed. Our special follow-up program is designed to keep you wearing your lenses comfortably for a long period, and to assure that you attain the best possible visual acuity.
Laser Vision Co-Management
We work closely with the best of surgeons performing this procedure. We will let you know if you are a good candidate for this procedure, as well as, do pre-op and post-op measuring for you.
